In this lesson, participants use Argument Driven Inquiry as a strategy to engage learners in improving their understanding of literature.
Learning Objectives:
Students will activate prior knowledge about a literary or language topic and apply active reading strategies to gather "data" to draw conclusions about literature.
Through slow release, learners engage in self-directed concept development.
Students learn to think like literary theorists or linguists analyzing for patterns in literature.
