This session will show how to incorporate children’s literature into the classroom to promote deep thinking, open-ended questioning, and creative reflection strategies.
Learning Objectives:
Students will be able to identify key traits in children�s literature that invite deep reflection.
Students will experience a model activity using open-ended questioning and creative responses such as RAFT to foster critical and emotional engagement.
Students will apply a simple planning framework to design literature-based thinking experiences
