Short Description: Davidson Academy Online has been a leader in synchronous online learning for gifted students since 2015, long before the pandemic-era shift to virtual learning. In this presentation, we will share our best practices gleaned from 10 years of teaching gifted students online. Attendees will understand how taking a holistic and systematic approach to online learning has resulted in positive educational outcomes for gifted students, and they will leave with tactics that they can apply to their own fully-virtual or hybrid classrooms.
