Short Description: Investigate the intersection of iterative design and traditional academic areas to support workplace skill development in middle school. An overview of the maker mentality and design thinking process will establish connections between these instructional strategies and workplace skills. Participants will explore lessons from different content areas, assessment strategies, and paths for students to celebrate skill development, learning process, and products.
