Short Description: Join members of the NAGC Social and Emotional Learning Working Group for an interactive session with the goals of 1) sharing key resources for supporting the social and emotional well-being of gifted learners and 2) participating in a collaborative discussion about future priorities to address current gaps and needs within the field that will inform the working group's next steps.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will learn about resources to support the social and emotional learning of gifted learners
Participants will learn about areas of need regarding practical strategies and tools for meeting the affective needs of gifted learners
Participants will be able to describe social and emotional supports needed for different subgroups of gifted students
