Short Description: Acceleration is a well-researched, yet commonly misunderstood and underutilized intervention that helps meet the needs of gifted learners across the school day in an affordable and effective way. Combat common misconceptions and learn more about how acceleration can and should be used to help gifted students learn at their own pace. Suggestions for additional resources, assessment tools, and advocacy options will be provided. Participants will identify resources and strategies that can be used to advocate for and effectively implement acceleration within their own educational context.
