Two unique ways to study the universe were created utilizing components from a NSTA probe and YouthAstroNet from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
Learning Objectives:
Develop a more meaningful understanding of the universe through diverse activities and independent investigations. Students will analyze how thinking and understanding of the universe has changed through history.
Students learn to control robotic telescopes over the Internet to investigate the solar system, stars, and beyond.
Students are challenged to process images (combination of math and art).
