Susan Corwith, Ph.D., is director at Northwestern University’s Center for Talent Development (CTD) and an assistant professor in the School of Education and Social Policy. Dr. Corwith’s expertise includes talent development program design and evaluation, advocacy, and professional learning. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in educational leadership and policy analysis with an emphasis on high-quality programs for advanced learners. Dr. Corwith has worked as a K–12 educator, program administrator, author, and researcher. She served as the NAGC professional committee standards chair, leading the 2019 revision of the Pre-K-Grade 12 Gifted Programming Standards. She is also on the Board of the Illinois Association for Gifted Children. Her research interests include standards and professional learning, program evaluation, and the impact of talent development programming.
