Maggie Eubanks is a 20+ year educator and administrator in the public, international, and independent school communities in the US and Asia. She has an MEd in Ed Leadership, MLS in Library Science, is Board Certified in Special Education, and holds a Graduate Certificate in Twice-Exceptional Education from Bridges Graduate School for Cognitive Diversity in Education, where she's also pursuing her Doctorate. This informs her work as Head of Schools and Co-Owner of Palmetto Bay Academy Schools, non-traditional programs in Miami, FL, supporting exceptional learners with a specialization in neurodiverse and 2e students. This past year saw the addition of Toucanet Academy for Passionate Pursuits or TAPP, a K-8th niche school-within-a-school program for 2e learners, to their flagship secondary program at Palmetto Bay Academy. Maggie is passionate about research, but the heart of her focus is gathering together the best people to develop adaptive, responsive learning pathways for families who want to get the best of a personalized experience without sacrificing the warmth and joy of a caring school community. Current Innovation Areas: Neurodiversity-forward curriculum design and learning frameworks & applications of adaptive AI tools for personalized education for all learners.
