Dr. Elizabeth Edwards has 27 years of experience in K-12 education throughout Kentucky and Tennessee. She serves as the middle and high school gifted and talented resource teacher, gifted education coordinator, and choir director at Middlesboro Independent Schools. In addition, she is an adjunct professor in the College of Education at the University of the Cumberlands. Previously, Dr. Edwards was the choral and drama director of the Tri-State Youth Choir, a touring group of approximately 100 students from the Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia Tri-State area. Under her instruction, the choir engaged in mission-based leadership projects, performing and volunteering in children's homes, shelters, rehabilitation centers, and churches in Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Dr. Edwards earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Master of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University. She also holds a Gifted Education Endorsement from Campbellsville University.
