Nicole Goldsmith brings over 25 years of experience in public education in New Jersey, with a career spanning roles as a self-contained classroom teacher, Title I reading specialist, and, since 2007, a dedicated educator of Gifted and Talented students. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and has developed deep expertise in instructional leadership, mentoring novice educators, and facilitating professional development. Nicole has served as a consultant to school districts across the state, supporting the design and implementation of Gifted and Talented programs.
In recognition of her excellence in teaching, Nicole was honored as the 2019 Teacher of the Year for her local school district. She was subsequently named the New Jersey Association for Gifted Children’s State Teacher of the Year in 2025. Nicole is a senior member of the Shore Consortium for the Gifted & Talented, a regional organization committed to providing curriculum-based enrichment experiences for students in Monmouth County. She also serves as Co-Vice President of Programs for the New Jersey Association for Gifted Children, where she helps shape statewide initiatives to advance gifted education.
