Conrad Wildsmith is Head of School at Science & Arts Academy, an independent JK–8 school for gifted learners located in the Chicago area. With nearly three decades of experience in gifted education, Montessori programs, and language immersion schools, Conrad brings deep expertise in designing and leading learning environments that honor the complexity and potential of gifted students.

At SAA, Conrad is spearheading a schoolwide transformation grounded in a clear, research-informed philosophy of giftedness. He is leading the implementation of the Integrated Curriculum Model (ICM), redesigning instructional systems, and fostering a culture of collaboration, depth, and student agency. Conrad’s leadership is both strategic and personal—his commitment to gifted education is shaped by his experience as the parent of a profoundly gifted child.

Conrad holds advanced degrees in educational leadership and gifted education, and is passionate about aligning vision with practice to create schools where gifted learners truly thrive.
