Hilary Leithauser is a PhD student at the Johns Hopkins School of Education and a former early childhood educator, who taught in Head Start, public elementary schools, and private early learning centers. Hilary earned a BA in Romance Languages and Literatures from the University of Chicago, an EdM in Early Childhood Education from Boston University, and a CAES in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College. Her areas of interest include early childhood gifted identification and education, the relationship between intellectual giftedness and mental health, and the impact of family structure and birth order on educational outcomes. She was raised in the US, France, and Iceland.
