Wendi Moorman is in her 29th year in education. She serves as the Gifted Coordinator at the Mercer County Educational Service Center in Ohio, a role she has held for the past 10 years. She supports multiple school districts in this position by coordinating gifted identification, services, professional development, and compliance with Ohio's gifted education policies. Prior to her current role, Wendi worked as a Gifted Intervention Specialist at both Marion Local and Parkway Local Schools, where she developed. She delivered enrichment and acceleration opportunities for gifted learners in grades 3-6. Throughout her career, she has focused on working with educators to meet the needs of advanced students by promoting high expectations, purposeful differentiation, and meaningful enrichment. Wendi is passionate about building collaborative networks among teachers and administrators to ensure that gifted students academically and socially thrive. Her work includes leading professional development, facilitating curriculum selection, and supporting service to gifted education. She frequently presents topics such as Written Education Plans, acceleration, and technology integration to enhance gifted services for students.
