Hi, I’m Alison Price, a Gifted Intervention Specialist at Sylvania Schools in Ohio, where I work with gifted and talented students in grades 3 to 5. I have two master’s degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and School Leadership, and I’m passionate about designing meaningful, engaging learning experiences for gifted learners. I’ve had the opportunity to teach in Shanghai, China multiple times, working with gifted middle school students on topics like space exploration and genetics. These international teaching experiences have strengthened my commitment to inquiry-based learning and shown me how global perspectives can enrich gifted education. I also lead professional development sessions on supporting gifted students through MTSS and enjoy helping teachers bring creativity and challenge into their classrooms. When I’m not in the classroom, I love to travel, read thrillers, and dream up new enrichment projects for students.
