With over 30 years of experience in education and more than 25 years dedicated to gifted education, Ms.Renner, currently serves as a Gifted Coordinator and instructor of Advanced Placement World History and Dual Enrollment History. A passionate advocate for gifted learners, Susan has worked extensively with both high school and college students, using evidence-based models such as Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, Sternberg’s Triarchic Model, Francois Gagné’s Differentiated Model of Giftedness and Talent, Project and Problem Based Learning, and the Oxford/Cambridge tutorial approach.
Through a blend of academic rigor and enrichment, Susan supports diverse gifted populations using both push-in and pull-out models. Her work emphasizes personalized pathways, ensuring equitable access to advanced learning opportunities while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and self-advocacy.
