Abigail Sigmon has been the Executive Director of the Ohio Association of Gifted Children (OAGC) since early 2023. In her role she manages the day-to-day work of the organization and represents the organization to both the Executive and Legislative branches of the Ohio government.
She holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from Oregon State University where her research focused on collaborative governance among a mix of public and private stakeholders in Montana’s Blackfoot Watershed. She is also a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies.
In her spare time she manages a community garden where groups of new Americans are able to grow food using traditional practices from their home countries. She also loves spending time with her two rescue dogs, a seven year old Australian Cattle Dog mix named Frankie and a four year old Chocolate Lab mix named Coco.
