Leigh M. Tolley, Ph.D. is Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Mercy University, where she works with all faculty to support their teaching excellence. She is a university administrator, educator, and educational researcher and evaluator with a Ph.D. in Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation (IDD&E), as well as master's degrees in IDD&E and Secondary Education, English. Throughout her career, teaching has been her passion. She is energized by the opportunity to work with others who are learner-focused and do their best to make their pedagogical and/or andragogical practices as effective as possible to meet learners' myriad and ever-changing needs.
