Diane Oplinger is an experienced educator specializing in gifted education, currently working through the Stark County Educational Service Center. Next year, she will serve students and educators across the Dalton, Sandy Valley, and Strasburg-Franklin school districts, where she supports the unique needs of gifted learners with insight, compassion, and a deep understanding of advanced academic development.
A graduate of the University of Akron and Ashland University, Diane brings both academic expertise and practical experience to her work. In addition to her K–12 involvement, she serves as an adjunct professor at Kent State University, Ashland University, and Malone University, helpiong educators and sharing her passion for gifted education and gifted students.
Diane and her husband live in Green, Ohio, where they raised their three children—all of whom are gifted adults pursuing their own paths. Outside of education, Diane is a devoted Ohio State Buckeyes football fan and enjoys spending time with her family and in her garden.
Driven by a belief in the power of personalized learning and educational equity, Diane continues to be a strong advocate for gifted students and a respected voice in both classroom and university settings.
