Emily Stefanich is an educator, strategic leader, and current EdD doctoral student at Merrimack College, specializing in gifted education and neurodiversity. At Acera: The Massachusetts School of Science, Creativity, and Leadership, she serves as both Core Teacher and Lower School Coordinator, leading from the classroom and the leadership team to design and implement mission-driven, innovative programs.
With almost fifteen years in education, Emily blends curriculum design, pedagogy, and systems thinking to create transformative experiences for gifted and twice-exceptional learners — and the educators who support them. Her work spans developing content-rich, emotionally responsive instruction; mentoring teachers; facilitating professional learning; and advancing strategic initiatives that foster inclusion, community, and lasting change.
Emily holds a BA in History, an M.Ed. in Language & Literacy, and a CAGS in Educational Leadership. She is passionate about building dynamic, equitable environments where unique learners can flourish.
