Dr. Jolene Teske is Associate Director of the Belin-Blank Center and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa. Although this was her first year at the Belin-Blank Center, she has been a teacher, counselor, and gifted coordinator for thirty-four years. Her work focuses on collaboration, program evaluation, arts integration, the social and emotional support of gifted students, and using qualitative data to improve equitable identification and programming for advanced learners. She lives on a farm in central Iowa with her husband, Mike, and dog Sophie, and they have two grown children.
