Heather Fullmer has worked alongside gifted learners to foster both academic and personal growth since 2002, helping students build their confidence, explore their passions, and discover their paths while developing their gifts and strengthening areas of challenge. She now serves as the Gifted and Talented Facilitator at Legend High School and Cimarron Middle School in the Douglas County School District, Colorado. She also serves on Legend’s Student Intervention Team (SIT) and Cimarron’s Academic Success Team (AST), where she ensures gifted learners are part of the conversation and provided with equitable opportunities through school-wide decision-making and problem-solving. As the parent of two gifted children - one of whom is twice-exceptional - she brings both professional expertise and personal insight to her work.
