Short Description: Gamification for Good is a unique global awareness experience that engages students through a transformational giftedness framework, to cultivate pathways for positive, meaningful change that benefits society. This change agency initiative presents an extra layer of depth and complexity through game design theory, challenging gifted students with civically-minded learning opportunities, resulting in ‘Games for Good.’
Learning Objectives:
The attendees will consider how the game design theory supports multiple teaching and learning standards as part of transformational giftedness for whole-child development.
Attendees will learn how to incorporate gamification integration strategies within existing gifted curricula to support and foster global awareness.
The attendees will learn how to support students in their incorporation of change agency themes embedded within gaming initiatives.
