Short Description: Coming from a district that fosters all learners, identifying students in Creativity has helped to meet the needs of a completely different population of students. This session will show why Creativity is needed as an id, how to identify students in Creativity, and some resources for programming options.
Learning Objectives:
Attendees will understand how creativity reaches students that aren't identified in the academic areas, but exhibit signs of giftedness, coming from underrepresented populations, and many times are twice exceptional.
Attendees will learn ways to identify students in creativity.
Attendees will be given resources and use those resources in our session that will help them provide programming in the area of creativity.
