Kristen N. Lamb, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the College of Education at The University of Alabama. Her research focuses on the role of creativity in education and equity issues in advanced academics. Dr. Lamb is the co-author of Developing Creativity in the Classroom: Learning and Innovation for 21st-Century Schools and has published a number of articles and book chapters on the topics of creativity and gifted education. Her work has received scholarly recognition, including the 2024 Early Career Researcher Mini-Grant from the Mensa Foundation, 2022 Early Scholar Award from the National Association for Gifted Children, 2019 Paper of the Year for Gifted Child Quarterly, and 5th annual Paper of the Year for Journal for the Education of the Gifted (JEG). She currently serves on the executive board for the Alabama Association for Gifted Children and as an associate editor for JEG.
