Savannah Anderson,
Assistant Coordinator, Cherokee County TSET Healthy Living Program
Savannah Anderson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance from
Northeastern State University. With a deep passion for preventing disease and promoting
health, Savannah has dedicated her career to educating others about the importance of healthy
eating, physical activity and disease prevention.
Before pursuing her bachelor’s degree, Savannah worked as a nurse, serving in various roles
including at the Cherokee Nation Women's Clinic and as a hospice nurse. She also gained
experience as a Physical Activity Specialist for the Cherokee Nation, where she helped promote
active and healthy lifestyles.
Currently, Savannah serves as the Assistant Coordinator for the Cherokee County TSET
Healthy Living Program in Tahlequah. In this role, she focuses on preventing obesity and heart
disease through education on exercise and nutrition, as well as leading tobacco prevention
initiatives. Her dedication to both her community and her family reflects her commitment to a
healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.
