Keri M. Guilbault, EdD, is an associate professor and director of the Gifted Education graduate programs at the Johns Hopkins University School of Education. She holds a joint appointment at the Center for Talented Youth as the principal investigator of the Study of Exceptional Talent (SET), where she leads a longitudinal study of exceptional students. Her research focuses on academic acceleration, the leadership of advanced academic programs, and the affective development of the highly to profoundly gifted. She serves as Co-PI on a Jacob K. Javits grant, Project PTAL: Professional Transformation for Advanced Learning. Dr. Guilbault is an associate editor of the Journal of Advanced Academics and the Journal of Gifted Education and Creativity. She has extensive leadership experience in the field of gifted education at state, national, and international levels and has been recognized for her service with the 2020 American Mensa National Service Award and the 2019 National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) Early Leader Award. She served three terms on the NAGC board of directors. She has experience as a district supervisor of accelerated learning programs, instructional coach, curriculum and technology specialist, bullying prevention specialist, and as an Art, French, and gifted resource teacher.
