A passionate advocate for gifted education, Danelle brings both personal and professional insight to the conversation on parent partnerships. As a mother of four gifted children—whom she has supported through all levels of education—she understands the academic and social-emotional complexities gifted students face. She has served on her district’s Gifted Advisory Board since its formation in 2016, holds an Endorsement in Gifted Education, and currently works as a gifted education facilitator at the elementary level. Having lived in three different states, each with unique approaches to gifted education, she brings a broad and informed perspective to her work.
Danelle is committed to helping parents understand and navigate the often complex world of gifted education, building stronger home-school connections in the process. Her collaborative work with administrators, educators, and families reflects her commitment to inclusive and meaningful support for all learners. She believes in helping parents and educators recognize and value the diverse ways gifted children learn and grow. At the core of her work is a commitment to helping parents and educators recognize learning opportunities, understand the challenges gifted children face, and create a community where families and educators learn from one another—ensuring gifted students are supported, engaged, and empowered.
