Valerie Jasinski is a dedicated leader in gifted education with over twenty years of experience as a teacher, coordinator, consultant, and adjunct professor. She currently serves as the Gifted Education Coordinator for Westerville City Schools in Ohio, where she integrates gifted programming within MTSS frameworks, supports professional development for educators, and develops inclusive instructional strategies. Valerie also has experience leading a district-wide evaluation of gifted programs focused on equity and access.
In addition, Valerie is an adjunct professor at Mount Saint Joseph University, where she developed a Gifted Endorsement program with an emphasis on supporting underrepresented populations. She also teaches at the national level through the University of California, Irvine. A frequent presenter at state and national conferences, Valerie has delivered keynotes and sessions on topics such as MTSS integration, fostering creativity in learning, and supporting gifted English learners.
She holds a Master’s degree in Gifted Education from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Dayton. Valerie actively participates in leadership roles with the Ohio Association for Gifted Children and remains committed to creating inclusive, rigorous, and responsive learning environments for high-ability students.
