Hannah Kaptur is an experienced elementary educator with a passion for gifted education. She currently serves as a gifted support teacher in the Coatesville Area School District, a richly diverse yet economically challenged district in Chester County, Pennsylvania. In this role, she develops differentiated, project-based curricula and collaborates with teachers and leaders to advocate for and meet the unique needs of gifted students, especially those from underserved populations. As a bilingual educator, Hannah prioritizes responsive relationships with children and families to foster belonging and engagement.
Hannah holds a Master of Education in Gifted Education from Millersville University and a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from West Chester University. As a lifelong learner, she is currently pursuing two additional graduate degrees from Millersville: a Master of Education in Assessment, Curriculum, and Teaching and a Master of Education in Leadership for Teaching and Learning.
Hannah is an active participant in local, state, and national gifted networks and regularly presents on innovative practices in identification, acceleration, and programming for diverse gifted learners. Her work is grounded in the belief that every child deserves meaningful opportunities to thrive and be challenged.
