Dr. Shelly L. Mrozek is an AIG (Academically or Intellectually Gifted) teacher and instructional coach with over 30 years of teaching experience in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, serving students in grades K–9. She holds a Doctorate in Special Education, a Master’s degree in Reading, and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Slippery Rock University. She also earned a certificate in Children’s Literature through Penn State University’s World Campus and teaches creative writing, inspiring students to express themselves through storytelling. Dr. Mrozek is currently completing AIG certification through Meredith College. As an instructional coach, she supports educators in designing rigorous, differentiated instruction for gifted learners. Her work is rooted in literacy development, inclusive education, and a passion for helping both students and teachers reach their full potential.
