Yvette Robinson is a seasoned child welfare professional with over 20 years of experience and an advocate for gifted youth in foster care. She is the CEO and Founder of Xavier House Unlimited, Inc., located in Alachua, Florida—the first group home in the nation dedicated to identifying and supporting foster youth who exhibit characteristics of high intelligence. In addition founding of Xavier House, Yvette founded Callisto Professional Development Services, LLC, offering specialized training to foster parents, caseworkers, and child welfare professionals on the unique needs of gifted children. Her graduate studies focused on the education of at-risk youth, and she has presented at national gifted advocacy conferences and lobbied on Capitol Hill for the rights of underserved gifted populations. Yvette’s work has garnered national attention, including a feature on PBS’s WUFT and the 2024 President's Award from the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC).
