Short Description: Multilingual learners are often underrepresented in gifted programs. Implementing meaningful professional learning that supports sustainable systemic change is an essential part of the solution. This session shares an equity-driven professional learning model with examples for educators working with multilingual learners. Facilitators will demonstrate strategies that empower gifted educators as culturally agile transformative change agents in their spheres of influence.

Participants will examine the four zone equity-driven professional learning plan.
Participants will explore ways to be the change agent for more equitable gifted education within their district.
Participants will discuss strategies for implementing and adapting the professional learning model in their own district.
