Short Description: Twice-exceptional (2e) learners often present as gifted underachievers, average learners, or learning-challenged students, making their educational needs complex. Educators struggle due to a lack of tools and frameworks. Nest!LE2e offers a guided framework for schools, teachers, and parents to evaluate and differentiate curriculum and instruction, providing a holistic view of 2e learners' profiles and tracking progress over time.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will have a greater understanding of the complexities of struggling 2e students.
  • Participants will have a working knowledge of a theoretical guiding framework developed for 2e learners and its application within the learning environment
  • Participants will leave the session with their custom intervention plan for their 2e student and understand how to customize interventions from a child-centered strength-based approach.
