Gayle Bentley is a leading expert in gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) education, holding a doctoral degree from Bridges Graduate School of Cognitive Diversity in Education. With over two decades in public education, including her role as Innovative Learning Coordinator at Community Roots Academy, she brings extensive practical experience. As the founder of The Bentley Center, she provides vital resources and support for parents of gifted and 2e children, a mission deeply personal to her as the mother of three 2e sons.
An adjunct professor at Bridges Graduate School, Dr. Bentley also serves on the boards of Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted (SENG) and the California Association for the Gifted (CAG). She frequently presents at national conferences and offers professional development for educators. She has co-authored her first book, "Using Picture Books to Help Little Ones Learn About Themselves," which explores the importance of connection in supporting the social and emotional learning of young children.
