Short Description: Results of an empirical study of overexcitabilities in precocious young children will be presented. Bouchard's (2004) ElemenOE was administered to 132 parents of gifted children in the U.S. between the ages of four and eight. Findings revealed intellectual overexcitability as the most prevalent OE. Results indicate that the ElemenOE is useful for identifying gifted children's overexcitabilities.
