Dr. Elizabeth Schucker, Ed.D., brings over 22 years of experience specializing in inclusive teaching and K-12 gifted education. She began as a fourth-grade teacher, focusing on differentiated instruction, before transitioning to a gifted educator role. Currently, she teaches and coordinates gifted programming for grades 5-8. Dr. Schucker holds a master’s in Reading, a Reading Specialist Certificate, and a Doctorate in Transformational Teaching and Learning from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, supported by the Carnegie Consortium (CPED). Her research and published work explores student motivation to engage as change agents through a book club model. Passionate about fostering critical thinking, civic identity, leadership, and real-world connections, she designs gifted enrichment opportunities grounded in project-based learning and transformational practices. Dr. Schucker serves gifted learners through her pull-out “G1FT3D” seminar, collaborating with middle school teams to deliver differentiated instruction that supports student growth. As an active board member of the Pennsylvania Association for Gifted Education (PAGE), she hosts the “Turning the PAGE Podcast” and co-manages PAGE’s social media. She also advances gifted education in teacher preparation through professional development sessions for pre-service teachers. Dr. Schucker regularly leads initiatives and presents at local, state, and national conferences, advocating for excellence and innovation in gifted education.
