Celeste D. C. Sodergren, PhD., completed her doctorate in Educational Psychology, Gifted and Talented Studies at Baylor University. She holds a B.A. in English Literature, an M.A. in Communication, and both teacher and mid-management certificates in the state of Texas. She has previously served as a teacher of the gifted and talented, a district Coordinator of Continuous Improvement and Advanced Academics, then Director of Advanced Academics, and now serves as Postdoctoral Research Associate for Project EAGLE in the University of Connecticut’s Renzulli Center. Her research interests include gifted program leadership development, self-beliefs, parent and teacher beliefs about gifted children, and closing the research to practice gap.
