Christopher Vian serves as the Multi-Layered Systems of Support and Gifted Specialist for the NMPED. He has taught in Oklahoma, China, and New Mexico in a variety of subjects, but has focused on Gifted Education and English Language Arts. He has experience in early childhood education, primary and secondary education, as well as, teaching at the collegiate level, but he is one of the wierd people who find his home in middle school. He previously served as the president of the New Mexico Association for the Gifted. He has degrees from the University of Oklahoma and the University of Central Oklahoma in Communication with a focus in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication, English with a focus on 20th and 21st Century Film, and Secondary Education with a focus on Gifted Education and English Language Arts.
