Short Description: Talent search programs use above-level testing to identify gifted students who would benefit from acceleration opportunities not ordinarily provided by schools. The results of an extensive scoping review, which examined the academic outcomes associated with talent search participation, provide insights into the key research themes and trends to highlight the current state of the literature on talent search programs.
