Alia Pineda Medina, MEd, is a Ph.D. Candidate at Purdue University in the Gifted Education Research and Resource Institute (GER2I), where she serves as an undergraduate teaching assistant. She is a former enrichment program coordinator for K-8 and has developed/implemented history-based enrichment curricula for grades 7-12 in GER2I. Her research interests are teacher preparation, teacher perspectives, and special populations.
